Cruel Blue! Blue better watch out, They could be soon be under investigation by the RSPCA as Smash Hits reveals the shocking truth about their animal antics. 'I Dont know why we're allowed pets when we're young' says Antony 'Kids are always horrible. My brother used to throw the cat and see wheather it'd land on its feet!' Lee looks sad 'My Cat commited suicide' The others crack up before realising he's serious. 'Its true! One of her kittens died and the next thing we know she's sitting outside waiting for cars. A Few days later she got run over' The boys try not to laugh, but its not working-even Lee joins in. 'Dont! she was really depressed and commited suicide!' Is any animal safe from the Blue boys? 'I Poured aftershave into my goldfish tank once' laughs Simon 'i just wanted to make them smell nice-i was only little' Er, so you're not exactly animal lovers then? 'We were only young' protests Duncan. 'Mind you I feel really guilty about something i did. My grandparents had a dog and one day i was crawling around on the floor with it and it palyfully nipped me I made such a fuss that they had it put down. I Feel awful- they loved that poor dog!' 'We are definitley gonna get done by the RSPCA!' laughs Lee 'No more animal stories. We're nice to animals now' 'Yeah my mums dogs are married, and they've even had babies! We're nice really"' adds Duncan Oh Ok then Smash hits forgives you.
	Going Up...... 'Only my hairstlye has changed since we last me J17' says Antony Costa. Yeah and the rest! When J17 first hooked up with Antony 20, Lee Ryan 18, Duncan James 23 and Simon Webbe 22 last may, they were fresh faced un-knows about to unleash thier first single All Rise on the pop world. Seven months down the line and Blue are one of pop's hottest assets. 'We never expected this' says the blonde, blue eyed lee. 'We've been lucky and just enjoy each day as it comes' Lucky maybe, but it's taken more than that to be acceoted as a credible boy band, 'Boy bands are labelled as cheesy but we didnt want that' admits Simon 'from the beginning we wanted to be quality' Thanks to thier dazling performances and impressive debut album, All Rise, Blue have had little trouble proving that to the critics. That unmistakable pop star air surrounds the boys now (they're more confident and cheekier) but its a small price to pay for success.'We're still very laid back' insists Duncan, who confesses that most of his fan mail comes from mums! 'we know we're not going to be around forever' says Lee when asked about the bands future. 'We'd like to, but i'd say give us four or five years ' Lets enjoy them while we can.
Blue's girl challenge Name three things that girls do in the bathroom.... Ant: They phone up blokes and really turn them on. This girl used to ring me up ans day 'I;m in the bath' and it would really get me! Why do they do that? Si:They shave their legs and leave the hair all over the bath, Uuuuugh! Dunc: They go into the bathroom together and tart themselves up a bit' Lee: And they sing! Name three things girls always do at crimbo parties... Ant: they song blokes under the miseltoe and cuase loadsa of problems. I Know a lot about women and thats why i dont have a girlfriend' Dunc: get drunk, fall over and end up in bed with someone. Name three things girls do to get your attention at gigs....... Ant:They throw thier knickers onto the stage and shout stuff like 'Ant i want you in my pants' Si:They stare at you with really flirty eyes thats the kind of girl that gets my attention- the ones who dont scream but just stare' Lee: I'm attracted to girls who really look like they're having a good times. Enjoy yourself and i'll enjoy it with you!.
	Boyology Simon kicks off by telling us that actully lads dont mean a lot of the things they do or say. Antony admitted that 'all lads fart in front of birds, and Duncan reckoned we can't live without lads, because they need the security of a man. Only Lee manages to redeem himself coz although he likes the fact that lads get to be the more dominant one in relationships he did add 'you feel like you can wrap your arms around your girl and protect her' awwww how sweet?
Simon on Antony What did you think when you first met Ant? I thought he looked like a young Robert De Niro. I knew straight away he was gonna be a laugh coz he was a complete geezer!And i also thought we'd look good together as a band. Describe Ant's personality in just five words..... Funny,cheeky,spontaneous, a charmer-and a ladies man. Oops- i think that's a few more than five words! Can you tell us a secret about Ant? He wouldn't like me to tel you whats underneath his T-Shirt! Well, strictly between you and me- he doesn't like his hairy chest. But its cool, like a teddy bear! Anything else? Ant's the joker of the group! When everything gets a bit serious he's the ones who'll turn around and make a joke. If we get tired and ratty he's always the one who chills the atmosphere.And then we always remember that we're in this to have fun!
	Antony on Simon What did you think when you first met Si? I Thought this lads got a bit of style!He was a good lookin' lad who was wearing this white top woth wierd holes in it. When I heard he was a model it all made sense! Describe him in 5 words.... I can't!Er, funny, laid-back, easy to talk to, good with advice and stylish. is that ok?! What wouldn't he want you to tell us? His middle name! He hates it. looks at Si Can i tell 'em? Si: NO!. It begins with S and ends in N. I'm sorry he'll kill me if i tell ya! Anything else? He's very clean! He takes his time with everything he does. I Rush around a lot sweating- and he's always telling me to take it easy! He's the chill meister, man! And he takes his pillow whereever he goes! Airports, roadshows- everywhere!
Duncan on Lee What did you first think of Lee when you first met him? Hmm... I met Lee at an audition. He was playing pool and he cracked a joke. I knew he was gonna be a good laugh! And he really knew how to make me chuckle! Describe him in five words? Cockney, cocky, confident, cocksure and totally crazy! What wouldn’t Lee want you to tell us? He’s pretty open about everything, so I don’t think there’s anything he wouldn’t tell you himself. No, wait a minute… His table manners are really bad! He eats with his mouth open, helps himself to other people’s food. Its terrible. Anything else? Lee is the crazy guy in the band – the nutter! He’s a Gemini, so he’s got a split personality and he just flips at times. It's wicked having him around cos you never know what he’s gonna do next!
	Lee on Duncan What did you think when you met Duncan for the first time? I met Duncan and Simon at the same time. We were at an audition and he came over and started chatting. I thought he was a good bloke from the start. Describe Duncan's personality in five words... Smooth, slick, hyperactive, sensitive, thoughtful. He's definitely the most sensitive lad in the band. So, what wouldn’t he want you to tell me about him? [Laughing] He’s very popular with the laydeez! Ha ha! Actually, I think he might be well happy if I told you that. Erm… He goes for brunettes. Will that do? Anything else? Duncan and me always get up to loads of mischief. Whenever we go away and stuff we end up running around hotels naked! We just get naked for a laugh and run around – and often get caught too. Oh and we’re always up for a bit of skinny dipping.
Whos the most likely to..... Chat up a girl on the street? Dunc: Lee, hed say something cheesy like; 'you're beautiful can i take you for a drink?' Ant: He's so blatant, and it works too. Have to much to drink and throw up? Lee: Simon! Simon: I'm not likely to throw up but i did teh other Sunday Lee: He's lagging after about two beers! Do a runner from a restaurant? Ant: Me I did it a year ago. Dunc: I cant imagine you doing anything naughty. Ant:Yeah, it was a really snooty place so we thought sod it. We ordered everything we could, ate it and legged it. Si: He's proud of it, look!
